About Me

March 10, 2017 would forever be the moment that changed who I was and  the me  that many had come to know for  years over.  What was supposed to be a romantic date night to my favorite restaurant ended up becoming one of soon to be many life altering events and my introduction to the world of grief and loss and metamorphosis.   This blog came  from my experiences of this journey.  The journey of loss;  loss of a loved one, loss of self, loss of joy and all the other things that are taken for granted within the existence of living and the changes that transpire as a result of loss.  In that it is a journey into this world, its battles, the victories and the lessons of starting over, moving on and finding the courage to face heartache and choose to move on in spite of being broken.  It is the journey to find resilience in life, love, and joy after a loss.   This blog was also created to show the humanness in grief and create a community for others who have also experienced loss.  Whether it is the loss of a spouse, a child, a friend or divorce.  Helping others find solitude, community and connection in their own journey to the new.  It is my hope to continue to learn, encourage and share this journey with others in hopes that they will be inspired to dream again.

As you visit  here,  I want you to become a part of my community and I yours. Embracing this journey together.  I would love to hear your stories of triumph or share in your moments of solitude reflecting on your journey and the obstacles that you have overcome.  It is my goal to not only develop a community but to empower people with resources.  Also, helping others who have not had to endure profound loss into the world of grief and how it not only affects but changes individuals.
